Has it really been four years since I started blogging at Tucsoncitizen.com? I am now at over 1380 blog posts, and I can’t remember each and every one of course. Writing about community events and concerns is what I intended this blogsite to be back on June 18, 2009 and it has become that over the last 4 years.
I now have people in Tucson come up to me and say they enjoy my “community blog”. One lady noticed that I attend many events, so I calmly told her it was because it’s nice to be able to visualize the events I promote and cover. Plus I like the community feeling of festivals and other group events.
Here’s a link (click here) to one of my more unusual & popular posts, a book review discussing cannibalism on the high seas, and whale ships. That “community” of sailors had to learn to survive under dire circumstances.
And here’s another link to a popular post about the powerful Year of the Dragon (click here), and the activities of the Chinese American community here in Tucson.
And recently in May I posted an article about where to find cool, aquatic places to visit in Tucson (click here). Hope it has helped some readers stay cool in this hot Southwest American summer.
And I sincerely hope you the readers have enjoyed my posts as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them.
