My husband and I saw this show last year at PCC West and it is hilarious (hard to believe that monologues about vaginas and women can be funny, but it is.) Both men and women seemed to enjoy the stories told onstage by talented women (students/staff of PCC).
And this is another event to celebrate Women’s “Herstory” Month of March.

I’m reading an advance copy of “All Woman & Springtime” by Brandon Jones, about 3 North Korean young women (some teenagers) sold into sexual slavery in South Korea. They become prostitutes, perform internet dancing in the nude, or are forced to “service” men at bars/nightclubs. They have no choice due to threats of physical violence or fear of immigration problems and return to forced labor camps in North Korea. It is a very disturbing subject, and this gripping novel brings out the horrors of it very well, and the differences between communist and capitalist countries.
