Happy Chinese New Year! Celebrate Year of the Rabbit at Tucson Chinese Cultural Center

Happy New Year today in the Chinese calendar 4709, marking the Year of the Rabbit.

Family Day Festival “A Taste of China” on February 5, 2011, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tucson Chinese Cultural Center, 1288 W. River Rd. (just east of La Canada).

Free admission, to experience Chinese arts & crafts, performances. Food will be on sale. See www.tucsonchinese.org, presented by Tucson Chinese Association.

Coming up on February 12, Lunar New Year Celebrating the Year of the Rabbit at J.W. Marriot at Star Pass Hotel, 3800 W. Starr Pass Rd., 6 to 9 p.m. This promises to be a “fun-filled evening of wonderful entertainment, delicious food & drink, silent auction”. $125 per person, limited seating, call 520-292-6900 for reservations.
