Did the Arizona Republic newspaper endorse any Democrats?

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Someone asked me after yesterday’s post (click here) on the Arizona Daily Wildcat student newspaper endorsements of mostly Democrats, about the “conservative” Arizona Republic newspaper in Phoenix.

So here’s the link to their endorsements for the General Election:
http://www.azcentral.com/news/election/azelections/articles/2010/10/15/20101015arizona-2010-election-endorsements-republic-editorial-board.html

And in answer to my question on the headline: yes, five:

CD 1: Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick (D)
CD 4: Congressman Ed Pastor (D)
CD 7: Congressman Raul Grijalva (D)
CD 8: Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D)

and for Arizona Attorney General, Felecia Rotellini (D).

All their other state-wide endorsements are for Republicans, as far as I could tell.

Vote wisely, on or before November 2nd.
