Senior health fair by Asian Pacific Islander Health Coalition

Free Senior health & Caregiver symposium & fair scheduled for Sat. April 21 from 10 to 2 p.m. at Tucson Chinese Cultural Center, 1288 W. River Rd., sponsored by Pan Asian Community Alliance, and the Southern Arizona Asian & Pacific Islander Health Coalition.
Lectures on Alzheimers disease, independent vs. assisted living options, care givers, aging trends & impacts, dental, audiology/hearing & legal issues for elderly adults, plus info on elder abuse.
Tai Chi demonstrations (Senior classes in tai chi & Chinese yoga offered at that center for $3 per session on Thursdays). See www.tucsonchinese.org or call 520-292-6900.
Free screenings: osteoporosis, hypertension, asthma, memory screenings, medications list review, dental. Plus there will be displays by medical & business organizations, and community resource list for seniors.
Light Asian snack (steamed pork bun, pot stickers, tea) will be available for $3.
