MangaMania!! The mania is back.
MangaMania!! returns for its third year, all powered up and ready to battle its nemesis: End of Summer Vacation.
All your favorite cosplay workshops, gaming stations, Japanese snacks, drool-inducing prizes, martial arts lessons, artist demonstrations….(deep breath)….author talks, and anime viewings are back and better than ever. And this year we’ve added some new surprises to the mix. With a brand new venue and more table-flippin’ awesome than a ninja with a jetpack, MangaMania!! is one event you do not want to miss.

Nihon ga sugoi! – Do you love Japan? Want to know more about it? Drop by for some nuggets of knowledge from the land of the rising sun. Art gallery (second floor)
2:00–2:30 Japan Live – Go on beyond manga and get an up close and personal peek into what makes Japan such an interesting place.
3:00–3:30 Odaiko Sonora presents a traditional Japanese folk tale using masks, props, and taiko drums.
4:00–4:30, 5:00 – 5:30 Japan Live repeats
Try your hand at origami and make your own ninja with the
Fun Ninja Cool Craft. Art gallery (second floor )
Learn about Japanese martial arts with A-Long Kung Fu and
Japanese archery with Kyudo Club. Lawn
Get your zen on in the Serenity Garden and take part in a traditional
Japanese tea ceremony (starting at 3:00). Serenity Garden
