“Hidden Agendas” show at the Quantum Art Gallery in Monterey Court, plus food trucks

Thursday, March 1st, 2012

Opening reception on March 2 (6 to 8 p.m.),for new show entitled “Hidden Agendas”, art by Devin Kelly and Citizen Zane. The Quantum Art Gallery features fine contemporary art, and is owned/managed by Tarrek Asous. He can be reached at tarrek@thequantumartgallery.com, or 520-207-0102.

I love Citizen Zane’s colorful art and was impressed to meet him a few months ago & learn that he is a color-blind artist. Just look of his lovely painting of the buildings above & below & admire his grasp of composition & color.

Check out website: www.thequantumartgallery.com,

505 W. Miracle Mile, Suite #2
Tucson, AZ 85705

Show will run till May 27. Monterey Court is the new artisan collective/shops in a renovated motel on Miracle Mile, just west of Oracle Road.

And on Saturday March 3, I hear that there will have another food truck lunch day, following the success of last week’s first event. About five of those popular food trucks will park around Monterey Court & offer their delicious food. Foodie Fleet, Gnero Loco Bubba-Que, Jamie’s Bitchen Kitchen, Jones Street Bistro and MaFooCo were there last Saturday. Plus listen to Chris Molla – Accordion Freak Fusion, Saturday 11am-4pm. Check it out for a fun lunchtime event, and shop at Monterey Court as well.

Some of those food trucks are supposed to show up on Fridays, 4 to 8 p.m. as well.
