Sahuarita Pecan Festival (the nuttiest festival in So. Az)

Tuesday, November 6th, 2012

The Sahuarita Pecan Festival is becoming a Southern Arizona tradition. With delicious foods from across the Santa Cruz River Valley and lots of great activities, it’s an event for the whole family.

In 2009, Farmers Investment Co./The Green Valley Pecan Company and the Walden family began hosting this annual event as a way to give back to the community and provide an affordable family outing for their neighbors and friends. Since its creation, the Sahuarita Pecan Festival has raised over $12,400 and 2,200 pounds of food for local charities and averaged nearly 15,000 attendees each year.

2012 proceeds to benefit Green Valley Sahuarita Community Food Bank, Continental School Foundation and Sahuarita 4-H Club

The 4th Annual Sahuarita Pecan Festival is set for Saturday, November 10, 2012, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and will feature the popular Sahuarita Pecan Classic and Nut Run. Come for food, arts and crafts from the Santa Cruz River Valley and surrounding areas, great music, dancing and family-friendly activities. See you at the Festival!
