“COFFEE PARTY MISSION STATEMENT: The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.”

Website: http://www.coffeepartyusa.com/. If interested, sign up online, or email info@coffeepartyusa.com.

I saw a recent film showing of “9500 Liberty” here in Tucson at the YWCA which was hosted by Coffee Party founders Eric Byler and Annabell Park (click here). These are obviously two highly political organizers and film makers.

Coffee Party of Northwest Tucson meets every Tuesday, 1 to 3 p.m. at the Oro Valley public library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive (east of La Canada). Info: mrspianist@msn.com (from calendar listing in The New Southwest, formerly Tucson Green Times, October 15 to November 15, 2010 issue).

I just got an email from the founders urging everyone to vote today as well.
Or as they might say: “Wake up (by drinking coffee) and stand up.”

Remember that amazing scene in the 2004 movie “What the Bleep Do We Know?” about how water crystals are affected by hateful speech and thoughts? Best selling author Dr. Masaru Emoto who is credited with the research in that movie is coming to Tucson on Monday, April 26, 7 p.m. at the Loft Theater, 3233 E. Speedway. Read more here.

movie poster

Dr. Masaru Emoto has photographed thousands of water crystals in his years of water research. The most beautiful crystals are those formed after the water is exposed to the words “love and gratitude.”

Born in Japan, Dr. Emoto is a graduate of the Yokohama Municipal University’s Department of Humanities and Sciences, with a focus on International Relations. In 1992, he received certification from the Open International University as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine.

Dr. Emoto is the author of several bestselling books, including “The Hidden Messages in Water”, “The True Power of Water”, and “The Secret Life of Water”. His books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages.

“Dr. Emoto says that when we speak positive words, we send out that vibration to others. They in turn emit positive words, and as a results we are touched by the positive vibration. The energies are exchanged through resonance. “Love and gratitude” exemplify the principle of resonance—working together, they create a balance of energy that yields a beautiful and harmonious crystal according to Emoto’s research.” (from Loft website)

Book signing to follow his talk. Tickets on sale now at the Loft, $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Get your tickets early as this event is expected to sell out (520-795-0844 Loft box office).

Sponsored by the Center for Spiritual Living Tucson, as well as the Arizona School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, Natural Awakenings, Tucson Green Times, Old Pueblo Heathcare, Water Street Station, and Interstellar Light Applications.

Be careful what you say to yourself, as our human body is composed of a large percentage of water. So try to be positive.
