“In partnership with TUCSON WEEKLY, proceeds from the sale of the 2012 Tucson CHOW CARD will go directly to support the efforts of local nonprofit organizations, the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance and the Tucson Meet Yourself Folklife”.

Go to the website www.tucsonchowcard.com for a list of the 15 plus participating restaurants, and to find out how to purchase the Chow Card (online, by mail, over the phone, in person at the office).

I checked the list and I’ve already eaten at about ten of them including Yamato, Ali Baba, Govinda’s, Cee Dee Jamaican Kitchen, D’s Island Grill, La Parilla Suiza, Vila Thai, Kababeque, My Big Fat Greek Restaurant, and May’s Counter.

Deadline to use this 2 or 1 card is October 31, 2012, so you still have lots of time to dine out & enjoy this diverse cuisine. And mark your calendars now for Tucson Meet Yourself: October 12 to 14, 2012 in downtown Tucson.

To enhance access to the Arts and to promote cultural awareness, SAACA presents large-scale festivals, events and other artistically diverse programs. The Alliance also promotes educational opportunities in art and culture for both the young and the old.
