Barrio Hollywood Youth Art Contest for annual Fiesta Grande

Attention – artistic students in grades 9 to 12 *, this one is for you.

Press release from Barrio Hollywood:

Who: Barrio Hollywood Neighborhood Association’s Fiesta Grande

What: HOLLYWOOD YOUTH ART CONTEST $100 prize
Students in grades 9-12 at Tucson High School or
Students grades 9-12 who live within the boundaries of Barrio Hollywood
are invited to submit an original poster for the 10th annual FIESTA GRANDE
(boundaries: St. Mary’s Road S, Speedway N, Grande E, Silverbell N)
Posters composition should reflect the spirit of Fiesta Grande and the
culture, diversity and unity of Barrio Hollywood.
Posters must have the following information written on the back:
Name, address, phone number, age, school grade, school attending and email of the student artist submitting the poster.

Why: Winning poster will be used for the official 10th Annual Fiesta Grande Street Fair on Saturday April 14 & and Sunday April 15, 2012

Where: Students can drop off their posters at Mariscos Chihuahua, 1009 N. Grande Avenue, Tucson, AZ (Phone 520-623-3563, open daily, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.)

When: Posters will be accepted through February 13th 2012 and will be judged at a reception on Saturday, February 18, 2012.

The Barrio Hollywood Neighborhood Association is pleased to announce the HOLLYWOOD YOUTH ART CONTEST, a poster contest for high school students in grades 8-12. The winning poster will be used for promotion during the 10th annual 2012 Fiesta Grande. The student with the winning poster will receive a cash prize of $100 at an art reception on Saturday, February 18, 2012. Posters composition should reflect the spirit of Fiesta Grande and the culture, diversity and unity of Barrio Hollywood. Posters will be accepted from now until February 12, 2012 at Mariscos Chihuahua, 1009 N. Grande Avenue, Tucson, AZ.
