KUAT interview of Ward 4 Council candidates

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

Once again Arizona Public Media KUAT reporters Christopher Conover and Andrea Kelly sat down to talk with the Council candidates for the City of Tucson general election, this time with Ward 4 Councilmember Shirley Scott (D) and her challenger Tyler Vogt (R). Vogt is a political newcomer & the older brother of Republican LD 30 state House Rep. Ted Vogt.

Scott is running for her 5th term on the City Council (elected in 1995), and ran her own business for 21 years prior to that. From Vogt’s website: “Tyler Vogt works as Deputy Chief Engineer of Production on a $250+ million contract. He is a subject matter expert in system architecture and design and system analysis. His previous position as a Principal Systems Engineer and lead systems analyst on a $400+million development contract required skills in requirements development and management, similar to developing and writing legislation/ordinances.”
