What: Cinema La Placita outdoor film series 2013 schedule
Where: La Placita Village, located on the southwest corner of Broadway and Church Avenue in downtown Tucson
When: every Thursday night at 7:30, May through August, 2013
Cinema La Placita continues its 14th season in June with films of intrigue, both foreign and domestic.
The season this year will run May – August, beginning THURSDAY, MAY 9 (the SECOND Thursday in May) and ending THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 2013.
Here’s the schedule for June 2013:

THURSDAY, JUNE 6 – Mata Hari (1931) Starring Greta Garbo.
THURSDAY, JUNE 13 – What’s Up Doc? (1972) Starring Barbra Streisand and Ryan O’Neal. Directed by Peter Bogdanovich.
THURSDAY, JUNE 20 – Philadelphia Story (1940) Starring Katherine Hepburn Cary Grant and James Stewart. Directed by George Cukor.
THURSDAY, JUNE 27 – Rear Window (1954) Starring James Stewart, Grace Kelly and Ramond Burr. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
Since April 2000, Cinema La Placita has been showing classic films, outdoors in the lovely plaza setting of La Placita Village. All films begin at 7:30pm each Thursday evening, May through August. $3-per-person admission includes popcorn. All proceeds contribute directly to the programming of the series. Cinema La Placita, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
La Placita Village is located at the southwest corner of Broadway and Church Avenue in downtown Tucson. Ample parking is available in the La Placita Parking Garage located on Stone Avenue just south of Broadway. Chairs are provided, but guests are welcome to bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Restaurants of La Placita Village are available for dining and refreshments. Alcohol is not permitted in the plaza.
