You can put these on the back of the grill if you are grilling out instead of heating up the kitchen by turning on the oven.
Just be sure to keep turning them so they do not burn and put over indirect heat.
6 beets cleaned and wrapped in foil
1-1/2 cups fresh orange juice
1/4 cup agave nectar
1/2 stick butter
2 Tbs minced orange peel
2 Tbs red wine vinegar
Roast beets in 400 degree oven for about an hour until tender
cool and peel beets.
Cut into julienne slices
Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan with beets and simmer for 12-15 minutes
Season with salt and pepper
