Orange-Fig Wontons

1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chopped figs
3 Tbs fresh orange juice1/2 tsp cardamom
zest from 1 orange
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp ground ginger
2 packs of wonton wrappers
1/4 cup cinnamon sugar
2 cups peanut oil
Place walnuts, figs, orange juice, zest, cardamom and cream cheese in food processor and blend
Place wonton wrappers on counter and put 1 tsp in middle of each wrapper
Brush edges of wrapper with water and form into wonton
Heat oil in small pan and fry wontons until golden and place on paper towel lined plate
sprinkle each wonton with cinnamon sugar as you take out of pan
Combine ginger and powdered sugar
Let Wontons cool a few minutes and sprinkle with ginger/powdered sugar
