…As a nation we seem increasingly unable to be alone with the contents of our own minds…
I’ve been thinking about this lately. Even more so after reading “Out Stealing Horses” by Per Petterson. I’m asking my friends too. Interesting.
One thing’s for sure though, this is a world wide phenomenon(or at least where electricity is available)

I sat for a year on that Military Community Relations Committee with neighbors, businesses and DM, and there were many residents upset with the jet noise overhead. See http://www.dm.af.mil/units/mcrc.asp.

Living underneath D-Ms flight path, Tucson has more noise pollution than any place I have ever lived.
Strange for a town so worried about “light pollution”.
