A number of national news sources, including the NY Times and NPR are offering continuing coverage.
An NPR discussion of school-shooter profiles indicated that the profiles were far from uniform, except that the shooters were all male and young.
The other common element that was not explicitly mentioned (too obvious?) was that all the murderers used guns. Not axes, or chainsaws, or knives, or strangling ropes, or poison Kool Aid, or sarin bombs.
Is there a lesson there? Not for Americans. I fully expect the gun lobby to argue that if the children had been armed they could have defended themselves.
This is sad beyond measure.
