Shot during fight: Michael Kilbarger, 23 – update with name
Michael Kilbarger, 23, was fatally shot following an altercation with another man on Nov. 3, according to a news release from the Tucson Police Department.
Officers were called to the 2500 block of North Fontana Avenue, north of East Grant Road, around 2 p.m. where they found Kilbarger suffering from gunshot trauma.
Police determined that Kilbarger and his girlfriend were visiting a man who lived in the area when the girlfriend got into an argument with the resident.
Kilbarger pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the man and the man, in turn, pulled out a handgun and shot Kilbarger.
Kilbarger was pronounced dead at University Medical Center at 2:47 p.m.
Police initially took one man into custody immediately following the shooting, thinking he may have been involved, but he was let go.
No arrests have been made.

Dangerous part of town.
It’s sad to think maybe all these folks were friends of each other?

It’s probably a good idea to not pull a gun on someone inside their house.

Probably not, but is it a good idea to kill someone? Michael was sticking up for his gf and the guy killed him for it. The other guys already had a gun in his hand so, they are both in the wrong.
