Yes, I am still sort of amazed at the longevity of the SKULL in clothing & accessory designs.  Not only that, but that you can find tee shirts with skulls on them at Target!  My mother has even bought me rhinestone skull necklaces off the Home Shopping Network!!  At first I think I was miffed at seeing skulls more in mainstream, thinking it would somehow lessen their ‘cool’ appeal, but I have long since gotten over that and still display mine with pride.  I have been a skull girl for a super long time and now that I have one tattooed on my arm, I will be for even longer.  My favorite skull design (this week):

    Lauren, you know it: skulls rock.

    I also know what you mean about being upset when certain styles you like go mainstream. I was devastated when Drew Carey shot to popularity at a time I wore black framed nerd glasses.

    Long ago Red Star owned, rode, loved and loved a bicycle having skull imprints on the handlebar cork-tape. The skulls looked exactly the skulls on Yolanda’s dress…turns out there is only so much you can with a skull.
