Is it really true that it is difficult to find a primary care physician in Tucson who takes Medicare? As an insurance broker, I have called many PCP offices in Tucson to ask this question and I have never been told “no”. My first-hand experience dealing with doctors throughout Tucson proves it is a myth that doctors are not accepting new Medicare patients.

We’ll never solve the healthcare puzzle until two fundamental flaws in the healthcare system are eliminated: 1) fee-for-service medicine and 2) reflexive, expensive, CYA diagnostic testing caused by runaway malpractice claims. Both are the primary drivers in healthcare cost inflation.
