Energy healing? Where to begin??
When I heard that his kidneys were failing, I knew that was a priority because he was facing dialysis.
So I began……
I used a similar technique that I described in my previous post on self-healing, along with surrogate EFT techniques while focusing solely on his kidneys. The next morning the doctor came into his room and reported that his kidneys had improved to such a degree that the only explanation there could be is that the original tests were in error!
Let me be clear that I do not believe that the healing happens by me, but rather through me. I only act as a conduit for universal energy to do the healing. Energy follows thought, so intention is very important, perhaps the most important aspect of energy healing.
So… did energy healing lead to the dramatic improvement of my dad’s failing kidneys? You decide.

First of all, I am so sorry you and your family are going through the pain of seeing a loved one, especially your Father, dealing with so much.
I don’t know much about energy healing. I am a strong believer in the power of positive thinking. Was your Father aware you were doing that? Does he believe in energy healing? Were there others in the room when you did it, and what are their feelings on it?

I did some of the healing work in front of him so that he could see me and know what I was doing. His desire to heal plays a big part in it and I wanted him to mentally participate as much as possible. At that time he couldn’t communicate other than nod, but he smiled and nodded. He was familiar with my work in energy healing, and although he did believe in it, he also remained a bit skeptical. No one was in the room with me, however my siblings are accepting of it and supported me. The rest was done on my own from home. When you work with energy, there is no time or space, so it doesn’t matter if you are right next to the person or if they are across the country, the effect is the same.

First of all, do no harm. No harm, no foul.
As an adjunct to science-based medicine this seems unlikely to be associated with adverse events and outcomes. Still, the fundamental basis of medicine has to remain in the verifiable.
