House of Ca' Deo

I’m really excited about The House of Ca’ Deo and what the organization is doing to support and promote alternative health in Tucson!  The House of Ca’ Deo is a not-for-profit organization that provides resources for individuals that are seeking the realization of Wholeness.  I met with the founder, Rachel Allen, and I was very impressed with her vision and passion for alternative healing, and for making it accessible to more people who might not have the opportunity to experience the many different modalities that are available.

Rachel has a wonderful story about her healing journey and how she was led to different practitioners and modalities and how that process ultimately led her to Wholeness and healing.  Rachel now has an enthusiastic vision to promote alternative healing in our community.

What does Ca’ Deo mean, you ask?  Ca’ is the abbreviation for the word cathartic, meaning healing.  Deo is the Latin word for God.  So, Ca’ Deo= Healing with God.  The House of Ca’ Deo is not a religious organization, however.  They believe that any individual can participate in their own healing with a Higher Power of their understanding.  HOCD does not suggest or imply any religious doctrine.  There are many paths to God, they merely suggest that you are open to the idea…  The HOCD remains completely supportive and neutral throughout the healing process so that they may be of service to as many individuals as possible.

True healing requires letting go of old (obsolete) behaviors, thoughts and actions.

The House of Ca’ Deo offers the opportunity to learn, practice and embody Wholeness.  They offer resources, that help individuals…

  • practice and use spiritual principles
  • utilize physical modality (body work) support, classes, workshops (events)
  • participate or contribute to a supportive, like-minded community

As an organization, the House of Ca’ Deo supports the individual’s transformation on many levels. Whether one is seeking to reveal wholeness of mind, body or spirit, the House of Ca’ Deo provides resources and support that foster this process. Healing is possible.

As a community, the House of Ca’ Deo believes in the principle of *Ecumenism. Through greater understanding of all faiths, religions and traditions, we truly are One.  Therefore, the offerings are varied in tradition and Faiths; sure to enhance and enrich your life no matter your current situation.

When I started Tucson Energy Healers Group a few years ago, it was my goal to educate myself and others about the many different healing modalities that are out there.  Its my belief that there isn’t a single be-all, do-all healing method that meets every individual’s needs.  As a matter of fact, although I am an EFT practitioner, I often employ different energy healing methods during a session with my clients according to their needs, and led by my intuition.  So I’m a firm believer in learning about different modalities, rather than sticking to one method just because it has worked for me, or because it worked in the past.

Let’s support  this wonderful organization and alternative healing in Tucson!  If you would like more information about The House of Ca’ Deo, visit their website http://www.houseofcadeo.org/

Thanks Jay Dee for bringing this to our attention. I think more and more people are realizing there are alternatives to “cut and burn” practice and just treating the symptoms instead of the cause. Great article.
