AIA365 to Broadcast Football Playoff games – Thanks to Cienega Media Department

Thanks to the Cienega Media Department the CDO-Cienega game will be online.

AIA365.com will broadcast all four 4A state football semifinals and the 2A championship football game featuring Willcox this weekend.

Friday:

No. 2 Cactus will take on No. 3 Palo Verde at 3 p.m. from Paradise Valley High School in a 4A Division II football semi-final.

The second game of a double header at Paradise Valley High School will feature No. 3 Saguaro as they match up against #7 Sabino in a 4A Division II semi-final. That game begins at 7 p.m. and can also be heard in Phoenix on AM 1060.

From North Canyon High School, No. 1 Mingus takes on No. 5 Santa Rita at 7 p.m. in a 4A Division II semi-final.

At 7 p.m., live from Tucson High School, the Cienega media department will be producing a 4A Division I semi-final between No. 1 Canyon del Oro and No. 4 Cienega. You can watch on Cienega’s web page or on aia365.

Saturday:

The 2A state football championship will be held at Walkup Skydome on the campus of Northern Arizona University. The 2A championship begins at 12:30 p.m. between No. 7 Valley Christian and No. 9 Willcox. The game can also be heard live in Phoenix on AM 1060.

    Andy, you are probably the best high school sports writer in the state now.

    I think the Star comes out with their “all-star” picks Sunday.

    I predict they will not be as well-studied as Andy’s and that they will lump all the 3A to 5A kids together.  They won’t even do 1A-2A unless it’s a big name .

    I also predict it will only be Tucson kids but they will still call it southern Arizona.

    I also know, from sources, that they know they are getting their @#$% kicked by this site.

    Just had a holiday visit to remember from Andy, Jane, Arianna, Brittney and Maggie. 

    Now that’s something to be thankful for and we most certainly are, my wife Terri and I, our kids Amber and Adam, our dog Buster!

    The Moraleses, southern Arizona faction, are now heading home and Andy, of course, is off to THS to cover the CDO-Cienega game.

    Should be a good one.

    And with Andy there to bring it to this page and into our homes…like only Andy can…you’re right Hamilton and Rory…there is no comparison.

    Just as it happens.
