Justene Kesterson scored two goals for Mountain View. The Lions will host Chaparral Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Justene Kesterson scored two goals and goalie Christine Posvistak scored in the 77th minute to lead Mountain View past visiting Willow Canyon. Kesterson is only a freshman. Lions coach Rick Ellis said he saw Justene play as a 7th grader and felt she could start for him back then. Posvistak recorded 5 saves before she was moved to forward.
