Terrell Stoglin set to play in Washington, D.C. at the Capital Classic
37th Capital Classic All-Star Game, set for Thursday, April 15, 2010 at American University, pit’s the nation’s top senior prospects versus the D.C. area’s elite seniors. The game is the longest running high school basketball All-Star contest in the country.
From its prominent beginning in 1974, the Capital Classic has introduced fans to the next generation of superstars. The greats, including Moses Malone, Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Magic Johnson and Dominique Wilkins have all participated in the Capital Classic, as well as the new age All-Stars of Lebron James, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony.
Arizona stars Hassan Adams (2002), Mike Bibby (1996), Andre Iguodala (2002), Luke Walton (1998) and Lamont Jones (2009) have all played in this game.
Jones was a starter for the U.S. All-Stars last year and scored 18 points in 21 minutes.
