Lost in all the high school football madness was the TUSD Girls Volleyball Tournament held at Pueblo this past Friday and Saturday.

Sabino took the Gold Bracket championship over Sahuaro 2-1 (24-25, 25-13, 25-12) with Maddie Bushman recording 17 kills and 11 digs in the match. Hannah Rebb had 11 kills and seven digs while setter Taylor Tertel had 32 assists.

Sahuaro is lead by Apryl McKellop, Sam Duncan and Kassidy Crawford.

Flowing Wells defeated Cienega for the Silver Bracket championship.
