Mellen to Arizona Christian

According to his father, Kevin Mellen had given up soccer in the seventh grade in favor of playing football at Mountain View. He returned to the game for his senior year and the result was an offer to play soccer at Arizona Christian University in Paradise Valley.
Mellen’s new team features two other Southern Arizona athletes in 6-foot-1 junior Chris Swanson (Academy of Math and Science) and freshman Alfonso Romero (Douglas).
