Canyon del Oro shot 3-under par on the second day of the Aguila Invitational to force a playoff with Thunderbird where the Dorados came out victorious. Perry was seven shots up on the field after Friday but faded on the second day.

Ironwood Ridge finished in sixth place, Catalina Foothills tied for 14th and Rincon came in 20th.

Ironwood Ridge standout Frankie Ortiz recorded the highest finish from Southern Arizona with a 107, 10 shots off the pace, to finish in a seventh place tie.

Four CDO golfers tied for 10th place: Eric Wu, Chris Meyers, Jaime Waltmire and Frankie Wu.
