Former Palo Verde standout Bryce Cotton was named to the Big East “Honor Roll” on Monday for his performances last week for the Providence Friars (9-7, 1-3).
Cotton leads the Big East with a scoring average of 21.6 points per game.
According to the Big East update on what Cotton did last week:
“Cotton shot 15-23 from the field (.652), including an impressive 8-14 from three point territory (.571). Cotton had 24 points in the Friars six-point loss to No. 7 Syracuse on January 9. He was 5-8 from three-point territory. On January 13, Cotton helped the Friars earn their first road win of the season and first Big East victory when he recorded a game-high 23 points. He also grabbed nine rebounds. He was 3-6 from three-point territory.”
