College Softball Division II Leadoff Classic to be held in Tucson this weekend: Candace Abrams returns to Tucson

Lincoln Park: February 15-17
18 teams will take part in the 2013 NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) D-II Leadoff Classic this weekend at Lincoln Park in Tucson.
Five players and one coach have local ties to the area:
Colorado Mesa University first-year head coach Candace Abrams returns to Tucson after serving as an assistant coach under Mike Candrea.
Abrams also played for the University of Arizona as a member of the 2001 NCAA Division I National Championship team.
