Former Lancer Ray Eastman named preseason Freshman of the Year

The Ohio Valley Conference named Ray Eastman of Belmont their Preseason Freshman of the Year.
Eastman had a 30-game hitting streak going at Salpointe last year and was an All-State selection and an All-Southern Arizona first team member due to his impressive numbers: .440 batting average, 48 hits, 34 RBIs, 30 runs scored, 4 triples and 13 doubles.
