The Flowing Wells School District will host the annual Fit Fest at Flowing Wells High School on Saturday March 16, 2013 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This is a free community event initiated by Flowing Wells School District superintendent Dr. Nicholas Clement promoting a day of fitness. There will be lots of free activities for the whole family to participate in and we will provide a healthy snack as well.

On a special note, in addition to the Fit Fest, the Flowing Wells School District will celebrate the retirement of our superintendent Dr. Clement. The retirement ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Fit Fest on Saturday March 16 with the festivities beginning at 9:00 am.

The following is a list of some the Fit Fest events:

Zumba, Boot Camp Training, Rock Climbing Wall, Dodge Ball, Tennis, 3K Fun Run, Kick Ball, Speed and Agility Training, Obstacle Courses, Jump Rope Competition, Toddler Play Area, Flag Football, 3 on 3 Soccer Tournament, Body Assessment testing, Pull-up Competition, Combat Fitness Testing, Elementary Triathlon and Personal Training.

A complete Wii Fitness System will be won by a lucky family. There will also be a healthy snack provided to include water and free fitness equipment will be raffled off.
