Remember all those men and women who gave their lives or gave themselves to defend us and protect us for, today, it does not matter the politics of what country or people they fought, what matters is that they stood up and served with no questions asked and many did not come home.
Think of those who continue to wear the uniform and of their mothers and fathers who are making the sacrifice so people like my own daughters can choose to stay home to live and work in freedom. I am grateful to those young men and women for allowing my kids that choice.

My father served in Korea and my Father-in-Law in World War II. Neither man wanted to speak of it. Whatever hell soldiers may find in war should always be followed with peace at home.
