Highly Influential registered independent latino voter – Carlos Sierra writes Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallegosby Dee Dee Garcia Blase on Jul. 13, 2012, under 2012 Arizona Elections, female-led political movement, Hispanic Latino Vote, Independent voter centrist moderate swing vote, independent voter open primary election, joe arpaio wastes millions of tax payer dollars, Mike Stauffer for Sheriff to Replace Joe Arpaio
Let’s talk about Carlos Sierra, shall we?
He is a registered Latino independent voter now. He was the national campaign advisor for Independent candidate –Buddy Roemer who ran for President, too. In addition to that, Sierra worked for Sen. John McCain for almost a decade in community outreach and made many, many friends and worked with grassroots leaders in the Democratic, Republican and Independent Party here in Arizona … which puts him in the highly influential category for the State of Arizona.
Carlos Sierra is a contributor for CNN, POLITICO, and is the President of the Reform Project and Sierra Public Affairs.
Here is what he writes Rep. Ruben Gallegos:
Disappointed in my friend Ruben Gallego for calling on Mike Stauffer for Maricopa County Sheriff to end his bid. Our Republic depends on brave people such as Paul and Mike, and even you Ruben, to enter the arena. None of us should ever be so arrogant to call for someone to not do what is their constitutional right. For a seasoned political operative you should know that a Democrat cannot and will not win a head-to-head race for Sheriff in Maricopa County against Arpaio. If Paul were to consider becoming an Independent, then he would have a realistic chance. There are people that do not like Arpaio but will die before voting for a Democrat. We both can agree that a three-way race is a likely win for Arpaio. I have already offered my assistance to the Mike Stauffer campaign and if it takes me moving back to AZ to get the campaign up and running, I’m game.
We are tired of both the Arizona Republican Party and Arizona Democratic Democratic Party leadership marginalizing independent voters! Enough is enough because Independent voters are surging in Arizona while Democratic registered voters are waning. Independents account for the 2nd largest Party in our state.
Here is why Mike Stauffer has a high chance of winning, and why the Tequila party movement (Latina-led movement) will be relentless in this race:
We are happy to hear that Carlos will be returning to Arizona to meet with Mike Stauffer for Sheriff in August.
