Sheriff Joe Arpaio just sent out a mass mailer targeting every single mailbox in Maricopa County regarding sheriff office race that shows how Independent candidate Mike Stauffer wants to shut down tent city, and it also highlights (D) Paul Penzone’s domestic violence background.  (Arpaio shows an image of the protection order court document filed by his ex-wife via Susan B. Penzone on the mass mailer you can see below).

Mike Stauffer will pull votes away from Arpaio on the independent voting front as well as the moderate Republican front… and I believe Penzone will pull strong on the Democratic front.

Arpaio is counting on hardcore Republicans in the County (there are over 700,000 GOP voters in Maricopa).   The fact that this mass mailer is hitting every mailbox in the County will cost Penzone women voters (we tried to warn the Maricopa County Democratic Party) but it fell on deaf ears.

Here are the exact Maricopa County Sheriff voting demographics:

703,288 – Republican voters

588,931 Independent voters [*now 2nd largest bloc]

541,711- Democratic voters

18,100 – Libertarian voters

 

We knew Arpaio’s strategy before he played it — and here it is …. 9 days before election day playing out what we knew he would carry out.  And so now you know exactly why we have been supporting Independent Candidate Mike Stauffer for Maricopa County Sheriff all along.  Mike Stauffer is a former long life Republican who left the GOP because he believes the Sheriff Office should not be partisan or beholden to a Party.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is hitting every single mailbox in Maricopa County highlighting two things:

1.  (Independent) Mike Stauffer wants to shut down tent city which is literally a lawsuit magnet, and

2. (D) Paul Penzone’s domestic violence history.
