I will be spending this evening with the Mike Stauffer for Sheriff campaign tonight while the Lead Co-President of the National Tequila Party Movement via Shirl Mora James will be with US Senate Candidate Bob Kerrey who is going up against a tea party extremist in Nebraska.

We will be watching the US Senate seats very closely, and we suspect there will be snags in the Presidential election.

It’s been a long, hard arduous road, and we are glad tonight will close a chapter.

Independent Candidate Mike Stauffer for Maricopa County Sheriff made a statement with regard to the race tonight.

He states:

Friends,

I wanted to take a moment before the end of this campaign to say thank you to everyone. Regardless of the outcome this evening, I wanted to tell you that we have run a campaign that we can be proud of. We refused to compromise our principles or our ethics and did not stoop to the grandstanding, bickering and negativity that is the current trend of partisan party politics. I know that this frustrated some and drew sharp criticism from others for myself and those that supported this campaign.We will be talking after we know the outcome of today’s election, but I wanted you to know that I am humbled and appreciate the hard work and the support you have shown to me and given to the campaign, at some expense for a few of you. No matter what happens, we have contributed to the betterment of our community.
