Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Here’s a bit of trivia I learned from my amigo Russ Contreras and for those who don’t know who Carlos McCormick is. He was the son of a Irish American truck driver and a Mexican American mother, and he was also close aide to JFK.
Carlos McCormick was the first major Mexican-American aide to a presidential candidate. He was an advisor to JFK and helped him win the ket WV primary in 1960. He later started the Viva Kennedy clubs.
