Phoenix, AZ — The National Tequila Party Movement, an Arizona based national Latino countermovement to the Tea Party, has learned that 2012 RepublicanPresidential Candidate, Herman Cain, will be visiting Phoenix today.
Herman Cain still has not apologized for his deadly electric fence comments, and we are demanding he do the right thing to this regard since we do not believe it is appropriate to joke about slave hangings and lynchings. As such, Cain should apologize for his anti-immigrant and anti-Latino jokes.
In light of rising hate crimes against Latinos, we attribute the hate to the likes of Sheriff Joe Arpaio who has made fun of mysterious Mexican immigrant deaths at Republican meetings, and Arizona State Senator Russell Pearce who advocates for and uses ethnic slurs like “Operation Wetback“, and “Anchor Babies” when he campaigns for in eliminating baby rights as he continues to target children.

About the National Tequila Party Movement
The National Tequila Party Movement is an Arizona-based Latin countermovement to the TEA PARTY. It consists of a national tour of concerts, events, dinners and rallies that will encourage a massive Latino Get Out The Vote. This movement is a non-partisan movement. We don’t care how people vote, we just want them to get on the early ballot system, become consistent primary and general election voters.
