Blase finally had enough with the Republican Party and left it for good. She stepped down as the President of SOMOS REPUBLICANS and switched to the Independent Party. Most pro-immigrant Mexican-Americans / Latinos left the GOP registering themselves as Independent voters now in light of the anti-immigrant platform the GOP accepted in 2012.

AZCOPS joined the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association (POSA) to announce their combined endorsement of Mike Stauffer for Maricopa County Sheriff.

AZCOPS joined the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association (POSA) to announce their combined endorsement of Mike Stauffer for Maricopa County Sheriff.

Stauffer, a 29-year law enforcement veteran, has exhibited unwavering support for public safety issues and employees.

“Mike will restore professionalism, integrity and a common sense work ethic to law enforcement,” said POSA President Jim Hill.
