Julian Castro gets standing ovation at DNC and is the epitome of the Chicano Movement

Tuesday, September 4th, 2012

Can you feel the fire and passion at the DNC?  There is no question in my mind (as a woman) that Julian Castro’s speech was from the heart!  In fact, his speech gave me chills (and hey….I’m not that easy to impress in the political arena).

One could especially sense the Tejano/Chicano/Latino pride when Julian Castro gave his speech at the DNC with a strong heartfelt message.

Castro was the first Latino keynote speaker to give this historic speech at the DNC, and the Democratic Party was wise to pick a speaker of Mexican descent.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

You are now witnessing how the Republican Party will lose generations of Latin support for at least 20-30 years (particularly from the Mexican-American community).

Julian Castro gets two thumbs up from me, and for those of you who are confused ….

…. Make no mistake …  Latinas and Latinos DO WANT TO BE PANDERED AND CATERED TO.

It’s about freakin’ time.

Our political love doesn’t come cheap anymore.
