President Obama since the Tom Tancredo “affect” is negatively affecting the Colorado GOP image with Hispanics. Tom Tancredo and his Immigration Reform Caucus is responsible for not supporting former President George W. Bush’s comprehensive immigration reform plan when Republicans owned the House and Senate. Tom Tancredo has darkened the doorsteps to the GOP house and the unintended consequences will be significant in states with high Mexican-American population. In 2008, the State of Colorado registered approximately 225,000 new eligible Latino voters virtually painting Colorado blue with Tom Tancredo’s help. In Arizona, we see a sharp increase in new eligible Latino voters registering due to the hostility we received from former Sen. Russell Pearce, Sheriff Arpaio, Gov. Jan Brewer, and etc.

Latino families will not vote for Republicans who do not have mercy on children.

The Three Nativist Arizona extremists - Ousted Russell Pearce, soon to be ousted Sheriff Joe arpaio (by Mike Stauffer for Sheriff) and JD Hayworth who was ousted by a Democrat in Arizona when he lost his Congressional seat. Extremism doesn't pay.

Latinos must vote in droves in they year 2012 and send Washington a message that we are awake and paying close attention.

Republicans must support the original version of the DREAM Act via Utah’s Orrin Hatch DREAM Act bill if they want to prevent the southwestern part of the United States from turning blue. Congressional seats were gained in 2010 due to population growth in the Southwestern part of the Nation. Southwestern Latinos in key swing Presidential states like Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, California and Texas are rejecting Senator Marco Rubio’s DREAM Act since it only offers table scraps of the Republican version of the DREAM Act Sen. Orrin Hatch introduced 10 years ago. This is unfortunate since Marco Rubio and his family has received amnesty via the Cuban Adjustment Act. If Republicans do not want to support their own version of the DREAM Act introduced by Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah, perhaps it is time to implement a Mexican Adjustment Act that emulates the Cuban Adjustment Act.

GOP chairman ‘disappointed’ party killed undocumented tuition bill

DENVER — Colorado GOP Chairman Ryan Call, who is now focused on improving the party’s standing with Latino voters ahead of the November election, told FOX31 Denver Friday that he’s disappointed that House Republicans this week killed a measure that would have made college more affordable for undocumented students who qualify.

Senate Bill 15, dubbed “Colorado ASSET” by sponsors, died Wednesday before the House Finance Committee when all seven Republicans who form a majority on the panel held firm and voted against it.

“I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed in the vote,” Call told FOX31 Denver. “I am. It does make it more difficult for Republicans to talk about issues that are important to the Hispanic community when a bill like that can’t get through the legislature.”
