<p>Just wow.</p>
<p>DREAM Act supporters are outraged with <a href="http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/files/2012/10/jeff-flake-voted-against-the-dream-act.jpg">Jeff Flake&#8217;s recent flip flop on the DREAM Act</a>.</p>
<p>Back in December 2010, Jeff Flake voted against the DREAM Act.  He toed the extremist tea party line for his own populist reasons.  Flake did not have one shred of compassion for youth and children, but now &#8230;. in light of the general election season  &#8230; I am told by DREAM Act activist <a href="https://www.facebook.com/caesar.vargas.9?ref=ts&amp;fref=ts">Caesar Vargas</a> that he has reversed his position<strong> again</strong> on the DREAM Act.</p>
<div id="attachment_2217" class="wp-caption alignleft" style="width: 271px"><a href="http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/2012/10/29/career-politician-jeff-flake-reversed-his-position-on-the-dream-act-after-he-voted-against-the-dream-in-december-2010/56605-students-some-wearing-graduation-caps-and-gowns-cry-after-wa/" rel="attachment wp-att-2217"><img class=" wp-image-2217" src="http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/files/2012/10/56605-students-some-wearing-graduation-caps-and-gowns-cry-after-wa-300x219.jpg" alt="" width="261" height="190" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Student cries after the failure of the DREAM Act vote in December 2010.</p></div>
<p>Doesn&#8217;t Jeff Flake know that we are tired of career politicians who reverse their positions according to polls?  Doesn&#8217;t Flake know that we know he didn&#8217;t vote for the DREAM Act in 2010?  Flake adds insult to injury by now saying he will support it, but how can we trust him when he voted against it less than 2 years ago?!</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px"><span style="color: #800000"><strong>Jeff Flake wasn&#8217;t there to see white-knuckled students praying to God Almighty for some compassion.</strong></span></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px"><span style="color: #800000"><strong>Jeff Flake wasn&#8217;t there to see their tears. </strong></span></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px"><span style="color: #800000"><strong>Jeff Flake wasn&#8217;t there to hear parents of the DREAM Act students with suffocating and crushing reality truths. </strong></span></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px"><span style="color: #800000"><strong>Jeff Flake wasn&#8217;t there to see young students and young ladies ask on <em>what they should do next</em> with tears in their eyes. </strong></span></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px"><span style="color: #800000"><strong>Jeff Flake wasn&#8217;t there to see loss of hope in our youth&#8217;s eyes. </strong></span></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px"><span style="color: #800000"><strong>Jeff Flake could have been a light, but instead he chose to be the jaws against social justice.  </strong></span></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px"><span style="color: #800000"><a href="http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/2012/10/29/career-politician-jeff-flake-reversed-his-position-on-the-dream-act-after-he-voted-against-the-dream-in-december-2010/dream-act-students-139/" rel="attachment wp-att-2220"><img class="alignleft wp-image-2220" src="http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/files/2012/10/Dream-Act-Students-139-199x300.jpg" alt="" width="92" height="138" /></a><strong>The <a href="http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/2011/11/28/joaquin-lunas-blood-on-the-hands-of-senators-john-mccain-jon-kyl-senator-orrin-hatch-etc-for-failed-dream-act-2010-vote/">blood of Joaquin Luna is on the hands of Jeff Flake</a>.  Luna may not have taken his life had it been for more compassionate people in Congress.</strong></span></p>
<p>In my view, Jeff Flake belongs in Florida &#8212; not in the southwest.  For instance, did you know that Flake voted to end funding on the enforcement of the <a href="http://www.finance.senate.gov/newsroom/ranking/release/?id=58ebd0d1-02b6-4834-b007-6064b41f93a9">Travel Ban in Cuba</a>, yet he is all about enforcement with regard to Mexican-American families here in the southwest?</p>
<p>Let me ask you this question:  Why on God&#8217;s green earth would Cuban immigrants want to go back to Cuba on an extended vacation there on the tax payer&#8217;s dime?  I thought Cuban immigrants wanted to flee the corrupt Cuban government &#8212; not go back on an extended vacation there!  <a href="http://www.finance.senate.gov/newsroom/ranking/release/?id=58ebd0d1-02b6-4834-b007-6064b41f93a9">Why did Flake vote to extend Cuban vacations to begin with if they are supposed to be fleeing Cuba?</a>  On the other hand, we see and hear about Mexicans who are dying in our deserts fleeing their country.</p>
<p>Why would Jeff Flake vote against educated and talented students via the DREAM Act that would  reduce bureaucratic government via H-l visas?</p>
<div id="attachment_2218" class="wp-caption alignright" style="width: 259px"><a href="http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/2012/10/29/career-politician-jeff-flake-reversed-his-position-on-the-dream-act-after-he-voted-against-the-dream-in-december-2010/joaquin-luna-suicide-note-jeff-flake/" rel="attachment wp-att-2218"><img class=" wp-image-2218" src="http://tucsoncitizen.com/hispanic-politico/files/2012/10/joaquin-luna-suicide-note-jeff-flake-300x246.jpg" alt="" width="249" height="205" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">This is the suicide note of a DREAM Act student takes his own life when he gives up hope on life and after the failure of the DREAM Act vote in 2010. His name was Joaquin Luna.</p></div>
<p>Several DREAM Act students receive engineering and medical degrees.</p>
<p>Little does Flake know that we know the tail has been wagging the dog for some time, and we are fed up with immigration hypocrisy that it will soon be time for the dog to wag the tail now.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m tired of talking about the issues Jeff Flake has flaked out on &#8230; allow me to show you a video from the DREAM Act students themselves with regard to how they feel about Jeff Flake.  It&#8217;s not my story &#8212; it is their story.  We just happen to support our youth, children and students.</p>
<p>It is a fact that Jeff Flake denied children and youth the American DREAM on that dreadful cold gray day in December of 2010.</p>
