Breaking: GO ARMY! Ted Nugent Booted From Army Concert for controversial attacks on President of United States
Monday, April 30th, 2012As a veteran of the Armed Forces, I am very happy with the decisions made by the Commanders at the Fort Knox Army base in Kentucky!
GO ARMY! [I was Air Force, but am really happy with the ARMY right now.]
I wrote about my NRA and Nugent concerns here and here. If anything happens to President Obama, I am going to rip the NRA into shreds for not kicking Nugent off their board soon enough. The ARMY made the right decision, now it’s time for the NRA to make a move since most of us (former) NRA members know about the origins of the NRA as it relates to military members who started the organization to begin with. Union veterans Col. William C. Church and General George Wingate formed the National Rifle Association in 1871. I will not pay any membership fees into the NRA until they kick Nugent off their board because they shouldn’t have a draft dodger on their board. Draft dodgers have NO business performing for an Armed Forces installation. Who made the asinine decision to allow a draft dodger onto the NRA board? Oh, the irony.
Sorry, Nuge, military installations were made for the brave — and you don’t qualify since you avoided the draft.
FROM YAHOO NEWS:
Commanders at the Fort Knox Army base in Kentucky cut Nugent from their annual summer concert after the controversial rocker told the National Rifle Association he will “either be dead or in jail by this time next year” if Obama is re-elected and blasted members of the administration, saying conservatives should “chop their heads off.”
“After learning of opening act Ted Nugent’s recent public comments about the president of the United States, Fort Knox leadership decided to cancel his performance on the installation,” Army officials posted on the base’s Facebook page.
I am so glad to see this hillbilly in a loin cloth booted off their installation!
