Jon Hunstman is State Senator Jerry Lewis while Mitt Romney is viewed as Arizona’s defeated Sen. Russell Pearce
Wednesday, January 4th, 2012I have said it before and I’ll say it again: The Mormon community needs to get behind Jon Hunstman. Jon Huntsman is a true compassionate conservative while Mitt Romney has “proudly” advertised he would veto the DREAM Act and punish children for the sins of their father. Mitt Romney doesn’t seem to follow the good principle of the Utah Compact and Romney would do right by the LDS Church to leave it all together. We all saw how former Arizona State Senator Russell Pearce gave the Mormon religion a bad name, therefore, we see Mitt Romney doing the same things Pearce has done. Bottom line: Extremism against the immigrants who helped build this nation does not work.
I am glad to see Huntsman expose Romney as the Mr. Wall Street / Bain Capital / Gordon Gekkko that he is. Jon Huntsman is a good Mormon and serves his religious identity well. Romney on the other hand is very much like Russell Pearce and his extremist views against immigrants and our Latin youth. Russell Pearce was taken down in Arizona with his extremist views when several thought it wasn’t possible to take him down, and as such, Mitt Romney’s anti-immigrant extreme views will experience the same fate Pearce experienced in Arizona. Mitt Romney’s millions did not pale into comparison with Rick Santorum’s 12.00 dollars and beat up truck. May Romney’s campaign continue to falter when he chose to utter his “veto DREAM Act” words…..may Providence give Romney the same “mercy” that Romney gives to children and our youth who want more than anything to be Americans and do right.

LEBANON, N.H. — Hoping to establish a competitive position once the Republican presidential primary contest shifts its focus from Iowa to New Hampshire, Jon Huntsman sharply criticized Mitt Romney on Tuesday, saying the frontrunner would be an agent for Wall Street and protector of the status quo if elected.
