Fountain Hills Times Newspaper Reports dueling rallies protest against Joe Arpaio at Catholic ChurchWednesday, August 1st, 2012
Fountain Hills Times story just in below.
The corrupt Sheriff Joe Arpaio lives in Fountain Hills, Arizona, and he attends the Catholic Church there, too. (Note: We will have more protests of Arpaio at his Catholic Church as we beg the Reverend Bishop Olmsted to publicly condemn Arpaio for the culture of death he is embracing at the Maricopa County Jail). We have no other choice. This is what it has come to because Arpaio thinks he is above the law. We are not a moral authority, however, we see Catholic Church leaders who do recognize themselves as a type of moral authority and this is why we are making a plea to them.
We will not succumb to tea party rhetoric anymore. For crying out loud … our people are dying in Arpaio’s jails and we cannot turn a blind eye to this. It’s enough we have the racial profiling stings to contend with and in fact Arpaio is proudly famous for doing these racial profiling stings .. that said, we are seeing mysterious Mexican deaths occurring in his jail. A Latino veteran of the armed forces died in an unjust manner recently and the video can be seen for yourselves here. This is an outrage, and since Arpaio thinks he is above the law — we are making a plea to Catholic leaders to deny him the eucharist or publicly condemn his culture of death actions. Catholic leaders are known to deny the eucharist to politicians who are pro abortion, and since my people are dying in Arpaio’s jail … and since this is also a LIFE issue … we hope the Bishop will do what is right.
From the Fountain Hills Times:
“If the Catholic Church leadership cannot deny the Eucharist to Arpaio for the culture of death he seems to embrace at his prison, then we hope Bishop Olmsted will at least consider publicly condemning the culture of death actions…
Blase says her party’s goal is to communicate with Latina matriarchs across the nation with regard to the need for compassion toward undocumented immigrants and the need to fix the “broken” immigration system.
