JT Ready was a neo-nazi baby killer who was ordained into Mormon priesthood by ousted and former Arizona State Senator

JT Ready and Russell Pearce

Russell Pearce. Pearce has advocated Operation Wetback (his words not mine) policies and self deportation laws that have spurred a series of increased hate crimes in Arizona due to the nature of xenophobic political Arizona leaders. Latinos have been sounding the alarm to this regard when we saw Russell Pearce and Sheriff Joe Arpaio begin their racial profiling tactics against my people.

Now we have a situation where we see another baby who was murdered and hate crimes continue to increase in our State of Arizona. I believe the Mormon Church (and all religious organizations for that matter who “preach” loving our neighbors) should take a stronger position regarding their members who are part of hate groups and advocate hate laws against fellow man. I’m not saying excommunicating individuals is the right thing, however, I believe the Mormon Church ought to consider taking Temple Cards away from people like JT Ready, Russell Pearce, and even Mitt Romney. [For the record: Mitt Romney has aligned himself with Kris Kobach (legal arm of FAIR) who helped lay the legal groundwork for S.B. 1070, Arizona's recently passed anti-immigrant law.]

Why should “religion” step in against hate laws and those who advocate hate towards fellow man while demonizing them?

Because our government is broken right now and powerful evil lobbying groups like FAIR, the John Tanton network, and Kris Kobach are attempting to control our country through divisive fear tactics. If religious leaders can’t work towards keeping the United States “united” debunking divisive fear mongering, then who will?

Religious organizations have stepped in to advocate for principles they believe in before. For instance, the Catholic church had the spinal fortitude in the Denial of the Eucharist to Pro-Abortion Catholic Politicians.

According to Catholic Culture:

Later, in response to questions from the press, the bishop stated that the politician “is not excommunicated. However, she has been denied the right to receive Communion until she forms her conscience in conformity with Church moral teaching and the divine law and goes to confession.”

I hope more Mormon leaders will continue to see that anti-immigrant self-deportation law(s) in a way resembles the Mormon Missouri extermination order. Both SB 1070 and the Missouri Extermination Order advocate mass exodus in order for people to flee persecution. We have witnessed mysterious deaths in the Maricopa Co. prisons, the chaining of pregnant women while they give birth, and people have been killed in our state since the Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed SB1070 into law — and I believe much of this has to do with how political leaders view those of Mexican descent.

Too many killings and murders have taken place here in our State of Arizona against my people, and I believe xenophobia is adding fuel to the fire.

Why did JT Ready kill a baby before taking his own life?

According to USNEWS:

Hugo Mederos, of Florida, told the Republic that the victims were his former wife, Lisa Mederos, 47, their daughter Amber Mederos, 23, her boyfriend Jim “Jambob” Hiott, 24, an Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, and Amber’s 16-month-old daughter Lily…..Morton said Ready had once said of Lily, who was half-Hispanic, “she’s 50 percent ugly,” the paper reported. “That’s how he described her,” she added.

No child should be viewed as “ugly” in anyone’s eyes regardless of their color or ethnic background.

So here we are. We have more deaths.

Should government be to blame?

Or is there a lack of leadership in all religious organizations these days?

Turning a blind eye to laws that advocate hate should not be tolerated. And just as the Catholic Church has taken strong stances in denying the eucharist to Catholic politicians — perhaps it is time for the Mormon Church to step in and deny access to the Temple regarding Mormon politicians who want to lead Americans. I hope LDS leadership will consider taking Russell Pearce’s Temple Card away.

Supporting healthy discussions on how to treat fellow man is one thing — but I think we are going to need to see religious organizations be stronger against growing dark views. Our government cannot really be an effective “light” nor can they really take a “moral higher ground” anymore because money via crony capitalism and special interest groups have infected it with a long-term illness. However, it seems to me that religious leaders who are ordained into priesthood should hold higher standards because of the religious nature. If priests are not abiding by the D&C, the Book of Mormon or Scripture … I think Mormon leadership should consider revoking Temple cards.

While I appreciate the Mormon leadership regarding the Utah Compact that resembles the Mayflower Compact, we need a strong dose of leadership with regard to all religious backgrounds in order to expose the hate laws that are espoused by FAIR, NumbersUSA, the John Tanton network, Kris Kobach and etc.

Time is short … and the Supreme Court is set to make their decision by June 2012. Which religious leaders and/or organizations will step in and take stronger proactive measures in light of an important court case that will affect millions and millions of Americans and human beings?

Will it be the Catholic Church? The Pope of Rome who resides in the Vatican? Will it be the Mormon Church? Will it be the Mormon Prophet Thomas Monson? Will it be evangelical leaders? Or will it be a combined effort of all religious leaders from all religious backgrounds?

I am by no means a member of any religious organization. To be candid, I sense there has been a dramatic drop of church attendance across the nation due to the lack of leadership within organized religious organizations.

Will the United States be on a course towards a Dark Age?

Or, will we continue to be a beacon to the world?

What is it going to take in order for us to heal and unite?

Whatever it is … I hope it will not be tragic.
