Latina-led Freedom Riders to Protest Sheriff Arpaio in Florida and the GOP Convention Via Freedom Ride Bus for Immigrants
Phoenix, AZ — The National Tequila Party Movement is set to leave Phoenix, Arizona, this Sunday, August 26, 2012, via our Freedom Riders for Immigrants. According to KTAR, Arpaio is to speak at the Republican National Convention, and we will be protesting the corrupt Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the Republican National Convention. The GOP has become the face of Pete Wilson, ousted Senator Russell Pearce (who welcomed Operation Wetback), Arpaio and Kris Kobach who has advised candidate Mitt Romney — all who have become stars of the anti-immigrant movement.
Everyone on our bus will be eligible voters and American-born citizens of our Nation. Lead co-President and Civil Rights lawyer, Shirl Mora James, will be be joining us in the Heartland to finish our bus tour when we visit Tampa, Florida. Too often we are told that undocumented immigrants are ignored because they cannot vote, therefore, those of us who were born in our Country and have fought for this Nation honorably will be the voice via our vote for the voiceless immigrants and DREAM Act youth. Indeed we do support a human immigration legal plan, and we look forward to accepting Florida Senator Bill Nelson’s invitation to meet with him since he is running against an anti-immigrant Tea Party politician.

About the National Tequila Party Movement:
The National Tequila Party Movement is a female-led political movement. More females vote in Presidential elections than men strong Latina matriarchs are emerging. It is our goal to communicatto females and Latina matriarchs across the nation with regard to the need for compassion towards undocumented immigrants and the need to fix the broken immigration system. The Tequila Party is currently organizing a national tour of concerts, events, dinners and college rallies that will encourage a massive Latino Get Out The Vote and political participation. This movement is a non-partisan movement. We don’t care how people vote, we just want them to get on the early ballot system, become consistent primary and general election voters.
