Libertarian Candidate Marc Victor slams Republican Candidate Jeff Flake on Free Market Issues

Thursday, November 1st, 2012

You gotta love U.S. Senate Candidate Marc J. Victor for smacking Jeff Flake around on the liberty issues.  Jeff Flake is a career politician who adjusts

Republicans are mad that Americans are offered a Libertarian choice.

his populist view according to the polls.

We are hearing conservatives and Republicans complain here locally saying that a vote for Marc J. Victor is a wasted vote.

Sound familiar?

The 2 major party system and their Party bosses get hella-annoyed when people exercise their free will to vote for someone else who is more in line with their own belief system. Whatever happened to democracy and voting your conviction?

A vote for Marc Victor is a vote for Marc Victor.  A vote for Gary Johnson is a vote for Gary Johnson — comprende?

Here is what Victor has to say to Jeff Flake:

“Jeff Flake is pretending to be a Libertarian, pretending to be for freedom and free markets…”

I’m not the only one who believes Flake is full of it.  According to a local poll seen here, you will find that over 65% of us don’t buy Flake’s Libertarian-speak.   See below:

The Maricopa County Attorney Race Debate between Libertarian Michael Kielsky and (R) Montgomery

Tuesday, October 30th, 2012

Barry Goldwater Republicans may want to listen in on this debate between Libertarian Michael Kielsky and (R) Bill Montgomery. There is no Democratic

Vote for Libertarian candidate Michael Kielsky in 2012

candidate involved in this race so the race is between a Libertarian and a Republican.

In the debate, you will find how the Libertarian Michael Kielsky wants to focus going after the real criminal element with regard to crime in general. Often times, we have seen Bill Montgomery go after people who have done no harm to others, and you can hear for yourselves how Kielsky puts Montgomery on the defense to this regard.

In the second video, you will hear Kielsky’s explanation on why he opposed SB 1070.  Free market Republicans who support pro growth business solutions will enjoy Kielsky’s views.  Many commercial developers have experienced a negative impact when they lost millions and millions of dollars in project development once SB 1070 was signed.  Bill Montgomery’s protectionist views harm our economy, and wastes tax payers dollars.   It is clear in the debate, that Bill Montgomery wants to continue to rule with the iron fist.

The “L” Libertarian Factor and the recent New Mexico poll: Obama 50%, Romney 41%, Gary Johnson 5%

Monday, October 29th, 2012

The L Factor — Libertarian.

With Latinos expected to go to voting booths in record numbers this year in the southwestern part of the United States ….  we now see Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson getting about 5% of the vote according to a poll in New Mexico.

The Boston Globe is calling this the “X” factor, but we are calling it the “L” factor.

Third-party candidates could tip vote

We are attributing his 5% to being the former Republican New Mexico governor, and he did quite well with the NM budget.  We also believe that Mitt Romney’s immigration protectionist views will hurt him with Latinos since he is on the record for supporting a view similar to the ousted Senator Russell Pearce’s extreme and draconian immigration policies.

More with regard to  the New Mexico Poll:

In a statewide poll conducted 12 days before the presidential election, Barack Obama still maintains a comfortable lead on Mitt Romney while the former two-term governor of New Mexico, Gary Johnson, who’s running as the Libertarian Party candidate is polling at 5 percent.

Here are the results of the poll released by the Albuquerque Journal that was conducted on 662 voters in New Mexico between Oct. 23-25 by Research and Polling Inc.:

Obama 50%

Romney 41%

Johnson 5%

Undecided/Don’t Know 5%

The survey’s margin of error is plus or minus 3.8 percent.

The numbers show Obama picking up 1 percentage point since the last Journal poll was conducted between Oct. 9-11 while Romney has picked up two points and Johnson has lost one point.

“The reason Mitt Romney is behind in New Mexico is because he is not picking up enough Hispanics and crossover Democrats,” the president of Research and Polling, Brian Sanderoff, said to the Journal, pointing out that in 2004, George W. Bush won nearly 40 percent of the Hispanic vote in New Mexico.

Obama maintains a big lead among Hispanics in the state (68-20) while Romney leads among Anglo voters (56-37). Johnson actually has slightly more support among Hispanics in the poll than Anglos — 5 percent to 4 percent.

Male voters support Johnson at a 7 percent rate, compared to 3 percent for females in New Mexico while Obama leads among men 45-43 and women, 54-39.

As the Romney vs. Obama matchup gets more intense in the final days of the campaign season, Johnson is trying to keep his Libertarian candidacy in the news.

In the past week, he received some attention for appearing on a C-SPAN debate of third-party candidates and declaring, “Waste your vote on me” and actually had a newspaper of respectable size (the Chattanooga Free Press, which has a daily circulation of 70,000) endorse him over Obama and Romney.

But according to a recent article in the New York Times, the Johnson campaign had only about $50,000 in the bank at the end of August, having burned through much of some $350,000 Johnson’s people had raised in small donations that month.

Nonetheless, Johnson staffers announced on Wednesday (Oct. 25) that the campaign launched a 30-second commercial on cable television in selected markets throughout the US, emphasizing Johnson’s call for drastically reducing defense spending and eliminating US military incursions on foreign soil and airspace.

Say YES to Prop 121 – Arizona Open Primary! Punish both parties and give independent voters ability to bring this Nation together

Monday, October 22nd, 2012

Say YES to Prop 121 – Arizona Open Primary! Punish both parties and give independent voters ability to bring this Nation together.

Do you miss the days of Ronald Reagan and Tip O’Neill where our political leaders used to be able to work in a bipartisan fashion? Indeed it would be nice going back to the good ol’ Reagan and Tip O’Neill days and breaking partisan gridlock to do the jobs Americans voted and pay them to do.

More than ever we need to go back to working on solutions….shedding the partisanship. We need to go back to the Ronald Reagan and Tip O’Neill days. We are hungry for that. We can no longer support the Tea Party and those who chant Hell No to everything. Americans want politicians to do what they are paid to do and work with each other across the political aisle for what is in the best interest of the United States. More Tea Party supporters have proven to be divisive with their “Hell No” to everything approach and it is destroying the unity message we yearn for because a house divided will not stand.

One of the great modern rivalries in American politics was between President Reagan and the then Speaker of the House, Tip O’Neill. If Reagan believed that government was the problem—O’Neill, an unreconstructed New Dealer—believed it could be the solution. Yet these two very different politicians—from rival parties and with opposing philosophies of government—were able to bridge the gulf between them, often with cordiality—and always with civility.

Reagan summed up their relationship when—after one of their famous St. Patrick Day lunches—he wrote in his diary: “Tip is a real pol…[he can] be a friend while politically trying to beat your head in.”

These days, it appears our Nation has gone to the extreme and to the fringe groups.

Here is why you should support prop 121:

Prop 121, the Open Elections Open Government citizen’s initiative, will establish a “Top Two” election system in Arizona.

Arizonans, indeed ALL Americans, are clamoring for change to our current election process that seems to yield little these days beyond partisan sniping and gridlock. Most voters feel our government is broken because our election system is broken.

Prop 121, the Open Elections Open Government Act, will do away with current partisan primary elections in Arizona in which only a limited number of voters now participate and are only permitted to cast ballots for the candidates from one party.

In its place there will be a primary election open to ALL voters and ALL candidates. The top two candidates from that election—regardless of political party—will then face off in the November run-off election. Prop 121 will affect county, state and federal elections (except presidential) and candidates will be permitted to indicate party preference on the ballot if they so choose.

The result of Prop 121 is a “Top Two Primary” in which every voter will be permitted to vote in both the Primary and General Election. Voters will have real choices, with candidates who better represent all the people of Arizona rather than just the extreme views of narrow interests, the political bosses, and lobbyists. Forms of the top two election system have already been successfully established in several states.

Prop 121 is opposed by political bosses and lobbyists who like things just the way they are, and who fought, but fortunately failed, to prevent you from voting on this important amendment.

We urge you to join with respected community leaders from across our state who are tired of hyper-partisanship and want our government to work for us.

Vote YES on Prop 121.

Read the full text of the initiative to learn more and provide feedback.

Arizona is infamous for being extreme, and this is precisely why I believe power should be taken from both Party bosses and more power should be given to the People via independent voters.

Candidate and Career politician Jeff Flake is no Libertarian when he voted to increase the debt limit 4x –

Monday, October 22nd, 2012

Candidate and Career politician Jeff Flake is no Libertarian when he voted  to increase the debt limit 4 times.  In fact, the Libertarian U.S. Candidate is Marc J. Victor.  Wil Cardon Republicans have an option to vote for the real Libertarian (Marc Victor) in the general elections come November 6, 2012 — especially the Cardon supporters who are tired of career politicians and special interest groups.

2002: Flake Voted to Increase the National Debt By $450 Billion. In 2002, Rep. Flake voted for passage of the bill that would increase the public debt limit by approximately $450 billion. The bill passed 215-214. [S 2578, Vote 279, 6/27/02]

2003: Flake Voted to Raise the Debt Ceiling to $7.384 Trillion. In 2003, Rep. Flake voted for the conference report on the concurrent resolution that would

set broad spending and revenue targets over the next 10 years. The agreement would allow a tax cut of up to $550 billion to be protected by reconciliation rules. On April 11, 2003 pursuant to Rule XXVII, H.J. Res. 51 was deemed to have passed the House as a result of the adoption by the House and the Senate of the conference report for H. Con. Res. 95, the FY 2004 Budget Resolution. That resolution raised the public debt ceiling to $7,384,000,000. [CRS Report, Votes on Measures to Adjust the Statutory Debt Limit, 1978 to Present, 5/10/11; H Con Res 95, Vote 141, 4/11/03]

2004: Flake Voted To Increase The National Debt Limit By $700 Billion.  In 2004, Rep. Flake voted for a procedural motion that included a roughly $700 billion debt limit increase. The provision inserted into a popular Defense spending bill allowed supporters to sidestep a direct vote on boosting the legal limit on government borrowing, then at $7.4 trillion. Congress approved a $984 billion debt ceiling boost in May 2003, the largest ever, without a stand-along vote, and a $450 billion increase in June 2002. Before that, the cap was not increased since 1997. The measure passed 221-197. [HR 4613, Vote 284, 6/22/04; CQ Today, 6/23/04; AP, 6/22/04]

2004: Flake Voted To Increase The National Debt Limit By $800 Billion.  In 2004, Rep. Flake voted to raise the federal debt limit by $800 billion to $8.18 trillion.  The Washington Post reported, “By passing such a huge increase in the debt limit, with no strings attached, Congress has effectively given the Bush administration a blank check to continue running large deficits, said Stephen S. Roach, chief economist at Morgan Stanley. ‘An open-ended license for this kind of fiscal irresponsibility is a recipe for disaster,’ he said.”  The bill was adopted 208-204. Failed Partisanship in CD 9: Mothers called leeches to Burnin Vernon (Parker) liking ‘screw the skinny b*tches’ page

Thursday, October 18th, 2012

Things are getting down right ugly here in Arizona with the deep partisanship of the two major party system between Republicans and Democrats — and this is precisely why I am an Arizona independent voter for life.

I want to demonstrate to my reader how the 2 major party system has failed American voters, and if you really want to punish the 2 major party system here in Arizona — I recommend you vote YES to an Open Arizona Primary via Prop 121.

For example, in Congressional District 9, we have seen the ugly partisanship nature of Republican Candidate  Vernon Parker attack the Democratic Candidate Kyrsten Sinema for referring to mothers as leeches.

Burnin’ Vernon states on his facebook page:

“FACT CHECK: Sinema Lies About Breast Feeding Moms Legislation; Taking Credit for Jonathan Paton’s Bill

Phoenix, AZ – Today the Vernon Parker campaign called on Kyrsten Sinema to immediately pull her blatantly false television ad claiming she sponsored legislation to protect breast feeding moms.Sinema’s Claim: “It was Sinema’s legislation that protected breastfeeding mothers like us from indecent exposure laws”FACT: HB 2376 was introduced by Jonathon Paton and Tim Bee. To see the actual bill click the link:

“Shame on Kyrsten Sinema for taking credit for someone else’s work. She should immediately apologize for lying about her record and apologize for calling stay at home moms leeches. Then she should take down this deceptive television commercial and finally come clean about her record,” said Alyssa Pivirotto, Parker Communications Director.”

On the other hand, a Libertarian-Republican friend of mine sent me this photo today below where it shows Burnin Vernon liking a fan page titled:

“Screw the skinny bitches:  A break up cookbook manual”

So how is a woman to vote in Congressional District 9 this year?  The options given to them in my view are horrendous.  It will amount to two things for the lady voters this year: Whether or not a woman finds it more offensive to be called a “leech” or finding it more offensive that politicians only like to “screw the skinny bitches” if these women voters are overweight.

I really don’t care who wins this race, but as a Latina … I am still disgusted with Burnin’ Vernon parading the border with Sheriff Joe Arpaio back in 2010…and in fact, one day before the Republican primary of 2012, my Libertarian friends told me they received robocalls from Arpaio supporting  Burnin’ Vernon Parker and shedding him in a good light.  My disdain runs deep against Arpaio since he sent a letter to his fans where he called me a liberal in 2010 — however, liberals are falsely calling me a far right winger and an Arpaio supporter despite my strong anti-Arpaio record.  The fringe groups have gone off the deep end — leaving the reasonable 80% that afraid to speak up in fear of being attacked by extremists on both sides of the aisle.

Long live the Independent Revolution, and may we be on the brink of another healthy American Revolution that will take power from both sides of the aisle.

What is with the Democratic Political Corruption? First Ben Arredondo now Catherine Miranda?

Wednesday, October 10th, 2012

What is with the Democratic Political Corruption?  First Ben Arredondo now Catherine Miranda?

State lawmaker Ben Arredondo pleads guilty to two felonies

Will resign his position in Arizona Legislature as part of the plea deal

Tempe politician Ben Arredondo pleaded guilty to two felonies and agreed to resign his legislative seat Friday, becoming the latest in a string of Arizona politicians to face criminal and ethics charges.

Trembling as he addressed the court, Arredondo pleaded guilty in federal court to honest services fraud and mail fraud. Honest services fraud is a federal charge often used in cases related to public corruption. Each felony comes with a maximum prison sentence of up to 20 years and $250,000 in fines. Restitution could be up to $50,000.

Now there is developing news that a Legislative District 27 resident is sueing (D) Rep Catherine Miranda over allegations of forged signatures on campaign docs and wants her tossed off the ballot.

And for those of you who are not from our whacky state of Arizona….go figure that our own Tom Horne (Attorney General) is also being investigated.

Criminy!  The crap we have to put up with here.   Now you know why independent voters have surged in our State becoming the 2nd largest voting bloc in our state now for the first time in Arizona history.  This is my shameless plug for Arizona voters to support Prop 121.

Horne launches probe into Catherine Miranda campaign

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office is launching a criminal investigation of Democratic state Rep. Catherine Miranda’s campaign, according to a spokeswoman for Attorney General Tom Horne.

The case stems from two investigations that Secretary of State Ken Bennett referred to Horne’s office, Bennett spokesman Matthew Roberts said Friday.

Documents obtained by 12 News indicate that the case focuses on possible forgery on campaign documents, including Miranda’s petitions seeking Clean Elections Commission money for her District 27 re-election race.

The Military and Veteran Vote Matters in 2012: Why are we killing kids that don’t need to die? Why does Romney want to increase war budget by $2.1 trillion?

Tuesday, October 9th, 2012

It is a military and veteran kind of day today.

I served honorably in the Armed Forces and it bothers me when politicians pretend to know about foreign policy or try to come off as being empathetic to our military when they dodged the draft.  Did you know that Mitt Romney dodged the military?  Romney avoided military service at the height of the fighting after high school by seeking and receiving four draft deferments according to Selective service records. Romney was of age to fight for our Country, but sought deferments instead. As a veteran of the United States Air Force, and as a female of the Armed Services, I will not vote for Mitt Romney.  How can a man who “claims” to love our Country seek deferments in order to fight for her?

Is it really necessary for Mitt Romney to increase our war budget when our ‘top brass’ didn’t ask for it?  Mitt Romney wants to increase our war budget by $2.1 trillion.  Imagine if we invested that here in our Homeland instead of abroad.  We are tired of bombing countries only to rebuild their infrastructure.  We need jobs HERE in our homeland and we cannot afford to piss away our tax payer dollars by constantly bombing other countries — especially during  a slow economy.

Americans are sick and tired of war, and more importantly dependents and family members of soldiers serving in the Armed Forces are, too.

Bill Moyers Essay: Honoring a Fallen Soldier’s Plea (VIDEO)

October 4, 2012

“Why are we killing kids that don’t need to die?”

That’s the question Florida Congressman Bill Young was moved to ask after reading a letter written to him by Matthew Sitton, a young soldier who was killed in Afghanistan in August. In this powerful broadcast essay, Bill talks about the congressman’s surprising change in perspective, the soldier who inspired him, and how that question needs to be posed to the two men now vying to be our Commander-in-Chief.

Just in: Republican Senator and Vietnam Veteran endorses President Obama over Mitt Romney

Monday, October 8th, 2012

I am not a Republican anymore, but as a key independent voter and a Gulf War veteran of our Armed Forces, I am not supporting Mitt Romney either.  I am  supporting Obama for Presidency.  I would rather have 4 more years of Obama than 8 years of Mr. Multiple Choice Mitt.

From the former South Dakota Senator Larry Pressler (Ret.) R-SD

Larry Pressler

Member US House 1975-79 Member US Senate 1979-97. Vietnam Veteran-served two combat tours in Vietnam, received Bronze Star, Member Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and VFW- Member, Jericho Homeless Veterans National Board

As a combat veteran of two tours in Vietnam with twenty-two years of service as a Republican member of the U.S. House and Senate, I endorse President Barack Obama for a second term as our Commander-in-Chief. Candidates publicly praise our service members, veterans and their families, but President Obama supports them in word and deed, anywhere and every time.

As a Vietnam vet, one of the reasons I support President Obama is because he has consistently shown he understands that our commitment to our servicemen and women may begin when they put on their uniform, but that it must never end.

This decision is not easy for any lifelong Republican. In 2008 I voted for Barack Obama, the first time I ever voted for a Democrat, because the Republican Party was drifting toward a dangerous path that put extreme party ideology above national interest. Mitt Romney heads a party remaining on that dangerous path, proving the emptiness of their praise as they abandon our service members, veterans and military families along the way.

(Independent Candidate) and Prop 121 Supporter Mike Stauffer discusses accountability of tax payer money wasted by Sheriff Joe Arpaio

Monday, October 8th, 2012

I have a beef with the corrupt Sheriff Joe Arpaio, and much of it has stemmed from the killing of a Latino Veteran Marty Atencio in his jail.  I am a Gulf War Veteran and an Independent registered Arizona voter who is supporting Mike Stauffer because Mike Stauffer is fiscally conservative.  Arpaio has wasted millions and millions of Arizona tax dollars, and we cannot afford another 4 years of Arpaio.

Below is a recent video from Independent candidate and prop 121 supporting Mike Stauffer who is running against Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Mike Stauffer for Maricopa County Sheriff discusses being accountable to you the tax payer. The MCSO has over 30 chief level positions earning $100,000 + each. Day one, Stauffer will reduce the command staff to 8 chiefs in total. Watch it now.
