Prerna Lal’s immigration views do not represent Mexican-American voters and our views with regard to Comprehensive Legal Immigration Reform. American voters have a responsibility to shape policy direction.
Earlier this morning, Brietbart wrote an article highlighting the founders of DreamActivist.org with the below story:
This story sparked a conversation on the Carlos Galindo “Hablando Claro” radio show, and he repudiated anything and everything that holds an anti-American view. That said, one of the co-founders of DreamActivist.org via Mohammad is on the record for referring to our Nation as Amerikkka.
Carlos Galindo also believes it is time for the real immigration activists and DREAM Act leaders to reject those who have ties to the DreamActivist.org and any other U.S. hating extremists. As a veteran of the Armed Forces — I wholeheartedly agree!
Moments ago, Brietbart came out with another story below with regard to Prerna Lal (FIJI Immigrant and one of the co-founders to DreamActivist):
Carlos Galindo and I want to know which of DREAM Act leaders will take a stance and make public statements against this anti-American crap?
Carlos Galindo will be keeping track of who of the DREAM movement will denounce the anti-American smut on his radio show program so be sure to tune in.
On a side note and in the spirit of Brietbart being concerned with “immigration lies” … I wonder how they feel about Senator Ted Cruz’s father being dishonest in getting to the United States?
According to the WAPOST:
The father of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) said in an interview airing Thursday that he had to grease some palms — in Cuba, at least — to get to the United States.
“A friend of the family — a lawyer friend of my father — basically bribed a Batista official to stamp my passport with an exit permit,” 74-year-old Rafael Bienvenido Cruz told NPR.”
Bribing someone is defined as: “persuade (someone) to act in one’s favor, typically illegally or dishonestly, by a gift of money or other inducement.”
Cruz has been a vocal opponent to Congress hammering out a legal immigration reform plan recently via the Gang of Eight even though Cruz was born in Canada and a son of a Cuban immigrant. Sen. Ted Cruz does not speak for Mexican-Americans either. Indeed Cubans only make up 3% of the entire Latino population pie, but those of Mexican descent make up almost 70% of the Latin population pie.
It is a well known fact that Cuban immigrants receive a privileged amnesty that is not given to those of Mexican descent. Indeed the majority of those getting deported are of Mexican descent, therefore, leadership needs to arise from Mexican-American voters who are advocates of legal immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship.
