Unbelievable. Tea Party extremist Richard Mourdock is scrubbing his website from his well known and documented tea party extremism. (Expect Romney to do the same after he applauded Obama for his ObamaCare because it emulated RomneyCare).

WASHINGTON — Democrats are criticizing Indiana Republican U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock for removing pre-primary material from his website, saying that it is evidence that he is distancing himself from the Tea Party base that helped his primary win.

Politico reported Wednesday that Mourdock had taken down material since the May 8 primary where he defeated U.S. Sen. Richard Lugar (R), with the support of Tea Party groups nationally and in Indiana. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee was quick to accuse Mourdock of hiding from his association with the Tea Party….

Well, tonight we get to see the results of the Indiana Senate Primary Results, and even though Pundits believe this race will

The tail has been wagging the dog, but it will be time for the dog to wag the tail. Cuban-American Sen. Marco Rubio had better do better than to offer Mexicans and undocumented Latinos table scraps.

influence national politics — I do not necessarily believe that. I tend to believe the Indiana race will influence the eastern national vote, and not necessarily the southwestern vote where several Mexican-Americans reside. Latino population in the southwestern part of the United States are responsible for the congressional seat gains as a result of the 2010 census reports.

The Tequila Party, DREAM Act activists and other Latinos who are members of the Catholic Church have had to tread very lightly this year with regard to the Indiana Senate races because Richard Mourdock has been lying about Senator Dick Lugar being a “friend of illegal immigration.” Mourdock was busy demonizing immigrants much the same way we witnessed Russell Pearce, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and Joe Arpaio here in our state.

One thing Latinos need to realize is this: The Tea Party is not dead, yet. They go dormant for a while and then focus all of their attention on saying “no” to everything when the times comes at the Hill. It is disarming to believe the Tea Party is dead, and we must keep our guard up through November 6, 2012. The same Tea Party extremists who are backing Richard Mourdock — are the same ones who backed Senator Marco Rubio. Latinos are keeping track and keeping score as more Senate and Congressional races get underway, and as Rubio implements a DREAM Act that does not give my people citizenship. It’s too bad Sen. Marco Rubio will not offer the same compassion that is afforded to Cuban immigrants with regard to the special Cuban amnesty they receive under the Cuban Adjustment Act. Rubio’s plan does not offer citizenship to my people even though it is offered to his people.

Why won’t Rubio support the original DREAM Act version implemented by Orrin Hatch of Utah? Because a Democratic President leads the country and Rubio chooses to put Party BEFORE People and human beings. That’s the bottom line.

Perhaps a Mexican Adjustment Act is in order that will emulate the Cuban Adjustment Act.

If Senator Lugar, one of only three Republicans who voted for the DREAM Act (while Rubio was too busy rejecting it) in December 2010 does not get re-elected … may God have mercy on Rubio and the Tea Party people. May the Creator give them the same mercy they give to the poor and the voiceless.

We all know that not one single President has implemented immigration reform within their 1st term within the last century, and the one President who supported immigrant friendly positions did not get re-elected back in the late 1800′s.

A couple more hours and we await the outcome of the Indiana Senate races.

We hope Catholic leadership in the State of Indiana throws a “Hail Mary” pass so that we can score a “Jesus” touchdown that Notre Dame football is famous for.

Aver que pasa…
